Lazlo is a 6 year old Chihuahua mix that weighs about 16 pounds. He has been with us now for a little over two years. He is a very sweet but super shy boy. Meet Ryder - a sweet, soulful girl looking for her forever home

Ryder is a 5-year-old Boxer mix with a heart as big as her personality. She's playful, deeply loving, and the kind of dog who will follow you around the house to be near you. If you're looking for a loyal companion who gives affection without reservation, Ryder is your girl.

What makes her wonderful: She's gentle and warm with people of all kinds; adults, strangers, kids. She rarely barks, making her an easy, calm presence in the home. She loves to play and has plenty of energy, but she's equally happy snuggling up at the end of the day.

What she needs: Ryder is reactive with other dogs and does best as the only pet in the household. She'll need leash walking rather than off-leash dog parks, and would truly thrive with access to outdoor space. A yard or nearby green space where she can stretch her legs and explore safely with no other dogs.

Her health: Ryder is healthy and up to date on her care. She has had two surgeries in her life - one to treat an aural hematoma or ’Boxers ear’ and one to repair a torn cruciate ligament (the canine equivalent of an ACL tear), which has been permanently corrected and hasn't slowed her down.

Why we're rehoming her: We love Ryder deeply, and this decision hasn't been easy. With two young children at home and her need to be away from other dogs (we have lots of dogs on our street), we're not able to give her the time, space, and care she deserves. She needs someone who can truly make her the center of their world, and we know that person or family is out there.
