Our adoption fee partially covers vaccinations, spay/neuter, vet visits, transportation, food, and our high level of care. Adoption fees range between $200 and $600.

The Adoption Process:

1. Fill out the adoption form from the above link. Not sure which dog is right for you? Go ahead and pick one and we will help you out when we connect.

2. We will reach out to set up a meet & greet appointment with you and the dog.

3. If it is a good match then we will call your prior vet for a reference check & sometimes do a home visit.

4. We require either proof of home ownership or a rental lease.

5. We will schedule a time for you to come in to finalize everything. We will have your contract, the dog’s prior vet records, and a resource guide. You can pay the adoption fee by cash, check, or credit card.

6. You get to welcome your new dog into their forever family!!

Please review the following requirements before applying:

• All applicants must have a contingency plan for the ownership and care of the dog if unforeseen circumstances render them unable to keep the dog.

• All applicants must be at least 25 years old. If under 25, a co-signer who is willing to take responsibility and ownership of the dog if needed will be required.

• All current and previous pets must be spayed/neutered, up to date with vaccines, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Proof of routine veterinary care will be required.

• Our processing time is approximately 7 days. Glitches in our online system do occur - If you have not heard from us in 7 days, please email for an update Info@HudsonPaws.org
