Meet Timothy!
Timothy is a 2-year-old Fox Hound mix, 63 pounds, with a tall, lean, athletic build and a heart full of love. He's the definition of a regal gentleman — sweet, easygoing, and quiet (he very rarely barks!). He gets along beautifully with people of all ages, including kids, and loves making friends with other dogs. He wears a gorgeous tan and white short-haired coat and has chestnut brown, soulful eyes.

Timothy is smart, curious, and a bit independent — he loves exploring the world with his hound nose, but he's just as happy relaxing with a pig ear by your side. He does need a good outlet for that curiosity, whether it's consistent hikes, dog park trips, regular runs, or a home with plenty to explore — a large yard, another dog, a lively household, or farm activities. He also does best when he's not left alone for long stretches, thriving with regular company, a canine companion, or a daycare routine on busier days.

He's potty trained, rides great in the car (up to 45 minutes, calm and uncrated), and already knows 'sit,' 'paw,' and 'down' — he picks up new things easily.

Hounds are known for their incredible noses, sharp instincts, and loyal companionship. Hounds are excellent trackers and explorers — they follow scents with determination and enthusiasm, making every walk an adventure. Hounds are typically gentle-natured, affectionate, and devoted to their people. They often do well with families and other dogs, especially when given regular exercise and mental stimulation. Their soulful eyes and big personalities, make them unforgettable companions.
