Meet Scotty, a 14-month old Staffordshire / Shar-Pei mix around 40 pounds. He is a handsome little fella’! He makes up for his small body by having a huge personality. He welcomes attention from people and dogs alike, he loves to reach up to the staff and get a good hug and seems to be smiling all the while. He has a beautiful, silky, all black coat, attentive hazel brown eyes, and a unique black and pink tongue (the Shar-Pei in him). He is very eager to please and has wonderful eye contact, so he should really take well to additional training. He has a strong, athletic build that he loves to show off by running and playing in the yard. But what he loves most of all… after a good run, he wants to snuggle up on the couch getting belly rubs. Scotty can sometimes play rough with other dogs, in NO way aggressive, but as a young pup he just gets excited. He is VERY fond of his girlfriend, Penny. 

Shar-Pei is a fascinating breed of ancient pedigree and are steadfastly loyal to family. They are strong, regal, independent guardians famous for intelligence and loyalty. Learn more about the breed HERE.

Staffordshire Terrier are full of courage and tenacity, agility and strength. These are true-blue loyal companions, but it is vital that the pups be socialized with other dogs to learn good canine manners.
