Pepper
Your New Best Friend
Meet Pepper, a 6-month old Boxer / Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is a real looker. He is both a handsome fellow and a real cutie pie all in one. He has a silky black and white coat, a beautiful wide white stripe down his nose, and large white markings on his chest and paws. He has an adorable pink and black nose - it just begs for kisses. He has a big personality and loves to express himself by interacting with his puppy pals or doing his adorable happy wiggle dance for human scrunch time. He is high energy so be ready for it, but once he gets it all out he falls into a long nap. He loves to explore, and has to check everything out in a new room. We expect him to be about 30 pounds fully grown. He is still young, so he will need some training (just like any young pup does). With a little time and patience from you he will learn in no time. He came from Alabama with his four siblings and his momma, Mallory. They were found abandoned in a vacant field. They came to us as tiny puppies and together with their mom we nursed them to health and got them well socialized. Pepper is the last of his siblings to be adopted. He is a gorgeous sweet pup and is ready for you to be his forever family!
Loyalty, affection, intelligence, work ethic, and good looks: Boxers are the whole doggy package. Bright and alert, sometimes silly, but always courageous, the Boxer has been among America's most popular dog breeds for a very long time. A Boxer in peak condition is an awesome sight. Their muscles ripple beneath a short, tight-fitting coat. The dark brown eyes and wrinkled forehead give the face an alert, curious look. Boxers move like the athletes they are named for: smooth and graceful, with a powerful forward thrust. Boxers are upbeat and playful. Their patience and protective nature have earned them a reputation as a great dog with children. They take the jobs of watchdog and family guardian seriously and will meet threats fearlessly. Boxers do best when exposed to a lot of people and other animals in early puppyhood. Learn more about the breed HERE.
