Nova is a 2-year-old Shepherd/Collie mix with soft tan and black fur and an expressive, smiley face that’s impossible to resist. This gentle girl is still finding her confidence — she can be shy with new people, but with a little patience, kindness, and love, she’ll quickly become your loyal new best friend. Nova recently arrived at Hudson Paws and is slowly settling into rescue life. In the play yard, she enjoys observing the other dogs and is beginning to join in on the fun as she warms up. Every day, her sweet and curious personality shines a little more. She’ll do best in a calm, patient home where she can continue to build trust and feel secure. Once she bonds with you, Nova’s loyalty and affection will melt your heart — she’s truly one of those special dogs who loves deeply once she feels safe.
