Meet Lola!

Margo is a 6-month-old Wirehaired Terrier mix and the smallest of her sibling trio. With her light brown, fluffy scruffy fur and sweet personality, she’s as adorable as they come. Playful, affectionate, and full of puppy charm, Lola is always ready to bounce into fun with her siblings or curl up for snuggles with her favorite people.

Like her brother Otto and sister Roxy, Lola’s journey began in the woods of Alabama, where the trio was discovered by a kindhearted 93-year-old woman who cared for them until shelter volunteers could step in. Thanks to that early kindness, Lola has grown into a confident, people-loving pup who’s happiest when she’s part of the action.

Lola loves playtime, enjoys the company of both humans and dogs, and is eager to learn and grow. She’s the perfect mix of energy and affection — a pup who will thrive in a home ready to guide her puppy energy with love, play, and consistency.

Wirehaired Terriers are spirited, intelligent, and full of personality. Known for their distinctive scruffy coats and lively expressions, these terriers are both adorable and adventurous. They are playful, loyal, and affectionate with their people. They often bond closely with their families and love being part of the action, whether it’s a game in the yard, a walk around the block, or snuggling on the couch after a busy day. Their alert nature also makes them quick learners, though like many terriers, they can be independent thinkers and benefit from patient, consistent training. These scruffy companions thrive in homes that can provide daily exercise, mental stimulation, and, most importantly, lots of love. In return, they bring joy, laughter, and endless devotion to their families.
