Herbie

Meet Herbie, a 5-month old Labrador / Rhodesian mix. He recently came on the rescue transport from Alabama with his nine other pup pals. He has gorgeous thick red fox-like fur, a white patch on his chest, and beautiful big brown eyes. He is a fun-loving and goofy guy. He loves to play with his pup pals and LOVES people. He likes to play-shy at first, but give him a few seconds and his outgoing side shines through. He is still young, so he will need some training (just like any young pup does). With a little time and patience from you he will learn in no time. We expect him to be about 50lbs fully grown. Herby can’t wait to run into your arms and be a part of your family. 

The Labrador Retriever is a sweet-faced, lovable, adoring, outgoing, and high-spirited companion. Their eyes glimmer with kindliness and their tail seems to be forever signaling the breed's innate eagerness. Labs are famously friendly. They are companionable housemates who bond with the whole family, and they socialize well with neighbor dogs and humans alike.
