Meet Darla!
Darla is a 4-year-old Lab mix with the most unique look — half of her face is brown, half is white, and all of it is beautiful. She’s been patiently waiting in rescue for over two years, and it’s truly a mystery why. With her sweet, mellow, and fun-loving nature, she’s ready to bring joy to her forever family.

Darla loves people, adores the company of other dogs, and has shown patience and gentleness with children at adoption events. While she occasionally bursts into playful silly zoomies (which are a delight to watch!), she’s mostly a relaxed and easygoing companion who would happily curl up with you after a walk. Darla would thrive in a family that could provide her with consistent and active playtime to help her slim down to her most healthy and happy self.  

This amazing girl has so much love to give, and whoever welcomes Darla home will feel like the lucky one. She’s proof that good things are worth waiting for — and Darla is more than ready for her happily-ever-after.

The Labrador Retriever is a sweet-faced, lovable, adoring, outgoing, and high-spirited companion. Their eyes glimmer with kindliness and their tail seems to be forever signaling the breed's innate eagerness. Labs are famously friendly. They are companionable housemates who bond with the whole family, and they socialize well with neighbor dogs and humans alike. But don't mistake their easy going personality for low energy: The Lab is an enthusiastic athlete that requires lots of exercise, like swimming and marathon games of fetch, to keep physically and mentally fit.
